Working with me, means dedication you can count on!

When we talk about dedication to my clients, one thing is for sure, I will get the job done, no matter what!! I had the opportunity to prove that in real time for some clients whom I was hosting a open house for a few years ago. Things didn't go to plan, but that didn't stop my spirit or my commitment to doing what is necessary for my clients. After all, the Open House must go on!

New Construction!

Years ago, I went to host my open house at a newly constructed home. The front door lock was built into the door and had a code to use for entry. For some reason, the code I was given was not working. After multiple attempts, and time running out, I knew we had to find another way to get into the house. I went around to the back of the house looking for a window or an open door or another way to get inside. The seller was out of town, so there was not much else I could do. I had reached out to the builder of the home for help and he suggested I try one of the basement windows in the back of the house. He said he thought it was open and I could crawl into the house through there.

Mud up to my knees!!

Neither of us accounted for the soft ground, or the recent rain we had received. Spotting the window in question, I started across the backyard. I had to walk on the wet ground that had not yet been sodded.  In an instant, I started sinking until mud was up to my knees. Drudging through mud that deep cost me my shoes, but I made it to the house. Once in the house, I rushed to find the bathroom to wash up and try to clean my legs from all the mud.

I hosted my open house bare-footed and had mud on my outfit as well. We got multiple offers and the house sold, so in the end, it's all worth it!
