Working with me, means dedication you can count on!

Once, at an Open House I was hosting, I was showing a home that had sat empty for quite some time. All in all, this home had been vacant for about two years prior to being listed. During the course of the open house, I kept hearing noises in the roof/attic area. I waited until I had a break in visitors and decided to explore and see if I could find out what and where the noise was coming from...

Flying visitors in the attic!

I saw the pull down access door for the attic and decided to take a peek up there to see what was causing the ruckus. When I pulled down the stairs and popped my head up to see what was going on, I couldn't believe my eyes!! There were hundreds of bats flying recklessly around the attic space!!!

Of course the homeowners had no idea they had such a bat issue, having been out of the home for two years by that point. The rest of the Open House had to be canceled while we dealt with the bats. Due to the nature of their species, the diseases they can carry and the protections in place to keep them from being killed, we had to take all the necessary steps to rid the property of the bats. The homeowner had to pay a considerable fee to have the bats properly removed from the house and for the attic and surrounding areas of the house cleaned to satisfaction. This entire ordeal was a big hurdle for my clients to get through, but in the end, the house sold, the bats were relocated and everyone involved walked away with a great story!!

Let me sell your home!

This is just one of the wild things I have seen over the years. All of this experience allows me to help my clients in a way that only someone with years of working in real estate can do.
